Of the 24 players, 18 are players from K-League clubs. The only overseas player is goalkeeper Kim Min-jun (Tochigi), who plays in Japan.

21 people were born in 2005, and Ko Jong-hyun (Suwon), Yoon Do-young (Daejeon), and Kang Joo-hyuk (Seoul U-18) were born in 2006.

Yang Min-hyuk (Gangwon) and Jeong Ma-ho (Chungnam Asan), who are active in the K-League, were not included in this call-up list.

The U-19 national team is preparing for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup and the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held next year. The U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers are scheduled for September.

Coach Lee Chang-won, who took charge of the U-19 national team on the 20th, played for the Jeonnam Dragons and Pohang Steelers, and achieved good results on the high school stage as the coach of Pohang Steel High School, attracting attention as an expert in developing promising players.
