3 Koreans in 30-player field at 'PGA Stars' event

A record three South Koreans will compete in the Tour Championship, the final playoff event on the U.S. Professional Golf (PGA) Tour this season. The Tour Championship is a "star-studded event" that is only open to the top 30 players on the seasonal leaderboard.

Viktor Hovlan (NOR) won the BMW Championship. With a final total of 17-under-par 263, Hovland claimed his fifth Tour victory and improved his FedExCup ranking from No. 7 to No. 2. Scottie Schauffler (USA), who finished two strokes behind Hovland, moved from second to first in the FedExCup standings.
